C5 Petroleum Resin - BTack 1095

 This Grade is a specific grade of aliphatic hydrocarbon resin, commonly referred to as C5 petroleum resin, characterized by a controlled softening point of 100±5°C. It is synthesized via the polymerization of unsaturated aliphatic monomers, primarily derived from C5 fractions (such as piperylene and isoprene) obtained as by-products from petroleum cracking processes. As a low molecular weight thermoplastic polymer, it exhibits excellent compatibility with a wide range of polymers and elastomers.

The major applications include adhesive, rubber compounding, waterproof roll, and coatings, etc.
